All about alcohol free 🍻🍸

Some of your drinks contain 0.5%, why is this classed as alcohol free or non-alcoholic?

We’re so glad that you asked! Europe classes anything 0.5% ABV or below as alcohol free. In the UK, alcohol free drinks that are between 0.05% and 0.5% ABV are classed as non-alcoholic. We do not stock anything that is above 0.5%, which equates to the same amount of alcohol as a ripe banana - who knew?! :)

Do you stock drinks that contain ZERO alcohol?

Yes we do! You can use our easy filters to select the maximum amount of ABV in your drink. If you see “0.0%” in the title, it really does mean zero, hero!

Do you stock Vegan and Gluten Free drinks?

Yes we do my friend! All drinks are vegan friendly and the majority are gluten free - we have a handy “dietary requirements” section on the drop down menu of our product listings, as well as gluten and/or vegan friendly icons :)

Can you get drunk on alcohol free drinks?

No sir-ee pal! It would take an insane amount of indulging to even feel the slightest bit tipsy. The only high that’s allowed here is being high on life!

Do you stock low calorie and low sugar drinks?

Oh absolutely! We believe that if you’re here to give alcohol free drinks a go, you shouldn’t have to stomach the same amount of calories and sugar as an alcoholic drink. The majority of our drinks are low in sugar and calories!

Why don’t you stock wine?

This is a fantastic question! In our humble opinion, we like to leave wine to the professionals - supermarket chains have alcohol free wine pretty sussed out both on cost and taste. We’re sticking to what we know and what you won’t often see in the supermarkets.

Can I buy more than one of the same drink?

You certainly can! Across all of our range, you have the ability to buy one if you want to dip your toes in, or buy in bulk packs with discount savings!


All about shipping 🚚

Who do you ship with?

We ship with DHL for larger orders and Hermes for our smaller orders. Both shipping services provide time slots which saves you waiting in all day!

When will I receive my order?

Orders placed before 3pm Monday-Friday will be sent the same working day on a next day service (but they don't deliver over the weekends, sorry!)

Please allow an extra couple of days leeway for any potential delays with the courier network. They work mighty hard!

Do you ship internationally?

At this time we only ship to the Mainland UK, however we hope for this to change in the near future!

Will I receive tracking information?

You sure will my friend! Upon dispatch of your order we will automatically send you an email with your order details and a handy tracking link to keep an eye on your tipple delivery!

Oh no! I won’t be at home for my delivery! What do I do?

Panic not, tipple buddy! If you’ve missed your delivery or know you won’t be in, you have the ability via the couriers website to reschedule a delivery or have it left with a trusted neighbour. Alternatively, you can leave it as it is and it’ll be re-attempted the next working day.

Can I send my order to somebody else?

We actively encourage it! How thoughtful of you! You can select a different address at the checkout and if you’re feeling extra sentimental, you can leave a note and we’ll pass on your message and stick it inside the parcel for you.

I’ve received my order damaged! What do I do?

We are sooo sorry! :( We ship your drinks with the utmost care, however some couriers can be bulls in a China shop. Please send us some images of the damage to hello@tametipple.co.uk and we’ll provide you with the option to replace or refund part of your order.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all the major debit/credit cards as well as PayPal!

Is my card data safe?

Absolutely! Credit card information, including the name on the card, card type, card number, expiry date and CV2 is collected and processed by our third party payment processor. We do not store or retain complete credit card information.

I’m having problems checking out!

Oh no! Darn technology! Please email hello@tametipple.co.uk providing us with some screenshots if feasible and we’ll get back to you with a resolution. If the problem persists, we’d be happy to give you a call and take a phone order.

Do you offer returns?

Yes we do! Please visit our returns section to read up more about returning unopened tipples!

I have a promo code, where do I use it?

Yippee!! All you need to do is copy the code and paste it at the checkout. You may need to click/tap a dropdown arrow to reveal. The price will be updated when you click “apply” and voila! If for any reason the code supplied is not working, please do not hesitate in emailing us via hello@tametipple.co.uk.

What made you decide to go with the name “Tame Tipple”?

We wanted to invent a fun, catchy name that people would instantly understand. Us Brits refer to tipple as a drink, but it's always been referred to as an alcoholic beverage. We want to break that meaning. Tame, meaning less powerful and easier to control or not dangerous, we combine the two words to reinvent drinking so that it doesn’t have to be dangerous or full of regret.

I have a favourite tipple but you don’t have it listed, can I make a request?

Absolutely! Please get in touch with us if you think we’re missing some fantastic brands! We’re always on the lookout for much loved favourites and will always be increasing our range.
